Description

Focus: Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity and industrial control systems protection

The OT track provides hands-on experience securing industrial environments through six specialized modules:

  1. ITxOT Segmentation - Learn to create secure boundaries between IT and OT networks using Next-Generation Firewalls, with focus on Modbus protocol control and IPS protection
  2. Internal Segmentation - Configure FortiAnalyzer for OT event handling, incident reporting using MITRE ATT&CK ICS frameworks, and comprehensive OT security reporting
  3. Advanced Persistent Threat - Deploy FortiNDR for OT device visibility and FortiDeceptor for industrial decoy deployment to detect and respond to sophisticated attacks
  4. Incident Response - Use FortiSIEM and FortiSOAR for OT asset management, vulnerability tracking, and automated security orchestration in industrial environments
  5. Network Orchestration - Implement FortiLink and network segmentation strategies for OT infrastructure protection
  6. Secure Remote Access - Deploy ZTNA and secure VPN solutions specifically designed for OT environments

Key Technologies: FortiGate NGFW, FortiAnalyzer, FortiNDR, FortiDeceptor, FortiSIEM, FortiSOAR, with emphasis on Modbus/TCP protocol security, Purdue Model implementation, and industrial-specific threat detection.
